A NEW CHURCH.
AN INVITATION FOR EVERYONE.
W
HO WE ARE
Hope Church belongs to Jesus. Which means we don’t get to decide someone is too far gone, too different, too doubtful, or too messy to be invited in.

We are inviting everyone to find their hope in Him and want to live like we believe that invitation is real.

So we’ll make space. We’ll speak words that give life. We’ll give what we have, tell the truth, own our mistakes, and let God deal with our hearts first. We’ll rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us, because this is His church.

Our hope is people will meet Jesus here, discover who they are in Him, and go out loving their neighbors differently because of it.
MEET OUR PASTORS

LEAD PASTOR, BRITTANY KERSHNER
LEAD PASTOR, DUSTIN KERSHNER
Brittany has spent several years in pastoral ministry and loves helping people get to know Jesus through honest conversations and meaningful relationships.
She’s planting Hope Church alongside her husband, Dustin, with a heart to make space for people to ask questions, find hope, and discover who they are in Jesus.

She co-hosts the Somewhat Saved podcast with her best friend, loves hosting parties and gathering people together, and is always up for an adventure with their daughter, Remington.
Dustin has served in full-time pastoral ministry for more than 15 years and has dreamed of planting a church since the beginning of that journey.
He believes Jesus is the hope everyone is looking for. His vision is for Washington to be know as a place where people are generous, caring and everyone has a really great neighbor.
Dustin loves hanging out with friends, playing the One Piece card game, guys’ trips, and good whiskey. He’s also the best Dad to their daughter, Remington.
OUR MISSION
Inviting everyone to find hope and discover who they are in Jesus.
OUR VALUES
Reliance on the Holy Spirit
We live in a perpetual relationship with the Holy Spirit, trusting His presence and following His lead.

Following Jesus reaches into every part of our lives. We want to know Him through Scripture, listen through prayer, and respond to the Holy Spirit throughout the week.

We believe God gives His people gifts to serve others and point them toward Jesus. Every person has something to contribute. We want to recognize those gifts and make room for people to use them with love and humility.

Before we rush ahead, we’ll pray, listen, and seek wisdom together. This is Jesus’ church. We depend on His Spirit to shape our hearts and guide what He is having us build.
Make Space for Everyone
We make room in our lives and our church for everyone to find hope in Jesus.

Everyone has a place to begin. You don’t have to understand greek, understand the Bible, or have your life together to be welcomed and invited here. We believe Jesus meets people where they are and invites them to follow Him.

Making space will sometimes ask something of us. It might mean parking farther away so someone new can park closer, choosing a less convenient service time, or inviting someone into a gathering where everyone else already knows each other.

We want our welcome to reach beyond the front door and into our friendships, homes, and routines. We’ll pay attention to who hasn’t been included yet and choose to make room; even when it costs us some comfort or convenience.
Be Generous
We give what we have, making hope visible in the way we live.

God has been generous with us, and we want His generosity to shape ours. Whatever we have; money, time, a skill, an open seat at the table; we can use it for the good of someone else.

We practice this through giving to the church, volunteering, meeting practical needs, and everyday kindness. Generosity belongs in our ordinary lives, in the moments when we notice a need and decide how to respond.

We’ll examine what drives us, including the temptation to compare what we have with someone else. We want to hold our resources with gratitude and open hands, trusting God as we share what we’ve been given.
Chief of Sinners
We let God work on our hearts first, remembering we all need the grace only Jesus can give.

When the apostle Paul called himself the “chief of sinners,” he acknowledged his own need for the Jesus he was telling others about. We want to carry that same humility. Following Jesus never gives us a reason to consider ourselves above someone else.

We’ll ask God to examine our hearts before we point out what needs to change in another person. We’ll tell the truth about our mistakes, take responsibility for the harm we cause, and ask for forgiveness.

We cannot save ourselves. Jesus is the one who saves us, and our identity is found in Him. His grace gives us the freedom to be honest and the courage to change. We want to extend that grace with the same humility with which we receive it.
